Sugar Magnolia (2021) Red

A blend of organically grown 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (new this year) from 9.5ha of their estate vineyards in the Alt Empordà on slate and schist soils up to 150m in elevation. Everything is hand harvested, whole bunch maceration for 1 week in stainless tank with spontaneous fermentation of native yeasts, followed by aging in old neutral barrels for several months after harvest. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with zero S02. Annual production is around 1,000-1,5000 bottles. Label art is done @studiovondst by Thirza Kok.
